    "AOS was established by Edmund Sobczyk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1936. AOS was a leading supplier of wooden pipes and electro-pneumatic chests for many years. They were well-known for the quality of their work, they made wood pipes for nearly every major organ company in the United States."

      [John Nolte worked for American Organ Supply Co. (AOS) from 1973 to 1977, and from 1984 to 1987, building wood pipes, chests, and consoles. In 1987 he founded his own firm. He maintained close ties with AOS, scaling and voicing wood pipes for them, as well as some custom electro-pneumatic chest work.]
