    The device that received patent 2,190,650 was a double solenoid. In the patent document at United States Patent Office,, nothing is said about its use in organs. Instead, it is stated that in the original patent application the solenoid was used "to accentuate the movement of the keys of a typewriter.” That typewriter was granted patent 2,190, 649 ("solenoid cryptographic typewriter”); see the patent document at
