  • From the OHS PC Database, derived from A Guide to North America Organ Builders by David H. Fox (Organ Historical Society, 1991). -- Same person as Olaf Petersson. Born in Sweden, 1871; apprenticed with Marcussen firm of Aabenraa, Denmark; with Furtwaengler-Hammar of Hannover, Germany, 1891-92; with William Schuelke, Milwaukee, WI, 1893-97; changed name after his grandmother in 1898; returned to Sweden ca. 1897 and was with Marcussen firm; began new firm in Goeteberg, Sweden, in 1898 and used Schuelke pneumatic system; died 1941.
