    Born August 10, 1946 in Inglewood, California; graduate of Loyola University and University of Southern California; apprentice with Abbott & Sieker of Los Angeles, 1971-1974; with Balcom & Vaughan Organ Builders of Seattle, Washington, 1977-1980; with Richard Bond Pipe Organs of Portland, Oregon, 1980-1985; established René, A. Marneau Pipe Organ Service in Portland, Oregon, 1981; began pipe organ production, 1985.
