    Swiss; brother of Johann Bohler; organbuilder with brother in Switzerland, c. 1820; immigrated to Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, between 1829-1833, canal lock-keeper, operated organ and piano firm by 1842; (with family firm in Reading, Pennsylvania?).
