Notes

  • Identified through information in Vol III p. 153 of the Pilcher factory ledgers and a list of Pilcher organs typed by William E. Pilcher of Louisville. For more information see the document referenced below. (Elizabeth Schmitt. April 7, 2005)
  • Original price: $4600--$1000 as a donation. Electric Motor (Elizabeth Schmitt. April 7, 2005)
  • Updated through online information from Stephen Hall. -- This building was the previous sanctuary for the church; it became the chapel when the then-6,500-member congregation built a new sanctuary in 1950 that received a 5/34 Wicks. The congregation later changed names and moved to a new campus, the Gaston avenue complex became Criswell Bible College. This room is now the college library. (Database Manager. March 7, 2012)
