Austin Universal Air Chests(©).

Two manuals. 4 stops. 27 registers. 4 ranks. 316 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

Stop keys above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Concave radiating pedalboard.

Notes

  • Chorophone unit organ. Rebuilt in 1983 by T. Schoenstein. (Elizabeth Schmitt. May 22, 2006)
  • Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- "Chorophone" Contract signed April 25, 1925. Finished at factory by October, 1925. Cost $3,400.00. Installed by Ernst Gieseke. Free-standing and encased in a birch case. Fa├žade pipes finished in French leaf gold bronze. Wind pressure 4" throughout. Four ranks are: Diapason, Bourdon/Harmonic Flute, Viole, and Dulciana.
