Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Three manuals. 5 divisions. 29 stops. 43 registers. 33 ranks. 2042 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in chambers to the sides at the front of the room. There are no visible pipes. Traditional style console with roll top.

Drawknobs in vertical rows on angled jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. Adjustable combination pistons. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Crescendo Pedal. Reversible full organ/tutti thumb piston. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action thumb pistons. Combination action toe studs. Coupler reversible toe studs.

Notes

  • Identified through online information from Stephen Hall. -- Swell and Pedal were in one chamber on the left, Great and Choir had separate chambers on the right. Anitphonal was in the attic above rear gallery. Great shutters were removed circa 1960 and Pedal Bourdon rewired to provide 32' Resultant. Organ was removed from the sanctuary in 1999 for renovation, re-installed 2001 with new Allen console with digital voices, new exposed Great by Lauck, other divisions rebuilt/revised, (Database Manager.
