Notes

  • Identified by James R. Stettner through information from the Estey Opus List, published in The Boston Organ Club newsletter, 1973-1979. (Database Manager. October 25, 2007)
  • Updated through online information from Philip Stimmel. -- The original Shop Order, as well as extant photos, indicate that this organ had a 4 manual console, not 5 as previously listed. (Database Manager. November 26, 2007)
  • The building was originally the national headquarters before the offices were moved to New Jersey; the name of the 1,600-seat auditorium celebrated the 100 years since the birth of the Salvation Army founder, Methodist minister William Booth; replaced by an Allen analog instrument. (Jeff Scofield. April 29, 2017)
