Notes

  • Identified from factory documents and publications courtesy of Stephen Schnurr. (Database Manager. March 21, 2008)
  • Information posted to PIPORG-L by Ralph Webb indicates at least some re-building ca. 1972, including the addition of the 16' wooden Trombone from Pilcher Opus 1497, originally installed in the First Baptist Church of Atlanta in 1930. (James Cook. September 27, 2008)
  • The organ has been considerably altered since the original 1947 installation; it was moved to the present building in 1956 and then enlarged by previously-played pipework from all over; the large 3-manual console came from All Saints' Episcopal, Atlanta, after a time-out in a Tennessee garage. (Jeff Scofield. February 4, 2019)
