  • Identified through on-line information from Justin Maxey. -- The church relocated from its historic Gothic style building in downtown to a rural, 75-acre plot of land nearby because of growth, space, and structural issues. They are currently worshiping in a temporary sanctuary which will eventually be a fellowship hall when the funds are there to build the final sanctuary, which the organ will hopefully be put into. They purchased an electronic for temporary purposes and the Schantz is currently in a climate-controlled storage facility on the same property. It is regularly maintained by the Widener organ company. (Database Manager. May 16, 2008)
  • Updated through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- The structural damage to the old sanctuary was primarily caused by the false lower ceiling that was installed; the walls weren't strong enough to support the ceiling supports and they started to pull in; the Antiphonal had already had to be removed by the time of my visit on June 30, 1998.
