Technical Details

Electro-pneumatic (EP) pitman chests.

Three manuals. 4 divisions. 34 stops. 40 registers. 37 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in chambers to the sides at the front of the room. There are no visible pipes. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, left.

Drawknobs in vertical rows on angled jambs. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. Adjustable combination pistons. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Crescendo Pedal. Reversible full organ/tutti thumb piston. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action thumb pistons. Combination action toe studs. Coupler reversible thumb pistons. Coupler reversible toe studs.


  • Identified through online information from Jeff Scofield. -- Replaced a 2/13 Murray Harris that burned with the old building on 5/23/1964. The new sanctuary is round, with the organ and choir located along the left front wall. (Database Manager. July 11, 2008)
  • The church was destroyed by fire on May 23, 1964; the present sanctuary was consecrated on September 11, 1966, and the Schantz installed in January 1968; the 19 1/2' by 24'mosaic behind the altar is made up of 225,000 pieces of ceramic tile and was made by a member of the church, with assistance from volunteers in grouting and refinishing.
