Technical Details

Electric key action. Electric stop action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 14 ranks. 832 pipes. Manual compass is 32 notes. Pedal compass is 61 notes.

The organ is in a gallery at the rear of the room and some pipes are exposed. Non-traditional style console. The console is in a fixed position, center.

Tilting/rocking tablets above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Adjustable combination pistons. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Coupler reversible toe studs.

  • Updated through online information from Michael Conrady. -- The St. Thomas Aquinas campus on Mockingbird was originally the campus of the First Community Church of Dallas (UCC). St. Thomas Aquinas purchased the church in 2006 and converted it into a lower school. The chapel organ remains in excellent mechanical condition, unaltered. Date of installation unknown.
