Three manuals. 4 divisions. 36 stops. 44 ranks. 2360 pipes. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is at the front of the room, and some pipes are exposed.

  • From the NYC AGO NYC Organ Project: The organ in Paul Recital Hall was built in 1969 by the Holtkamp Organ Company of Cleveland. Vernon de Tar, Chair of the Organ Department, designed the instrument in collaboration with Walter "Chick" Holtkamp, Jr. Following is the Holtkamp Factory Specification of December 12, 1966.
