Notes

  • An original installation. Identified by Ross Rieckers, based on personal knowledge of the organ. -- This organ was instaled in St. John's in 1926 and is one of 300 electro-pneumatic organs that the Hinners Co. built. In 1999 the organ was refurbished and upgraded to solid state. I am the current organist/music director. I was raised here and have played this instrument all my life. (Database Manager. February 4, 2013)
  • Updated by Paul Marchesano, listing this website as a source of information: https://newspaperarchive.com/seymour-daily-tribune-dec-20-1926-p-6/.
Seymour Daily Tribune article (Dec 20, 1926) describing the dedication of the organ with a general description that included electro pneumatic action, stop tablets, "crescendo/diminuendo" pedal, fan blower. No photo with article. (Steven E. Lawson. July 27, 2018)
