Technical Details

Tubular pneumatic key action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 15 stops. 15 registers. 15 ranks. Manual compass is 58 notes. Pedal compass is 27 notes.

Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs.


  • Identified through information in Casavant documents, courtesy of Simon Couture and Denis Blaine. The cost was $ 2,300. (Database Manager. April 12, 2016)
  • Damaged by fire and rebuilt in 1934 as Casavant 2/15 Op. 1488; destroyed in 1983 when the historic main building containing the chapel was destroyed by fire; replaced in a new chapel in 1987 by Letourneau 2/16 Op. 11. (Jeff Scofield. December 19, 2016)
