Technical Details

Slider chests with direct-electric pallets (internal).

Two manuals. 40 stops.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room. Traditional style console with roll top. The console is in a fixed position, left.

Stop keys above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals. Concave radiating pedalboard (not AGO standard dimensions). Crescendo Pedal. Reversible full organ/tutti thumb piston. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action thumb pistons.


  • The original builder was Hook & Hastings (1906, Opus 2112). (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Rebuilt and electrification of 1911 Hook & Hastings Op. 2667, which was a rebuild of the 1906 Hook & Hastings. Rebuilt in 1986 by Michael Quimby using some ranks from the 1951 Möller at First Methodist, St. Joseph, MO. Church merged with First Methodist. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • On-line update from David W. Lewis Jr. -- Original Opus 2112 chests are slider controlled by tubular pneumatic action. Opus 2267, 1911, chests are pitman action. Both were converted to electro-pneumatic action by Hook & Hastings in 1935 (their last official contract). (Database Manager. September 5, 2005)
