Notes

  • Updated through online information from Sean Haley. -- The building has just been demolished [November, 2015] to make way for more high density housing. It is unknown if the organ was saved, but is presumed destroyed. The management seemed to be reluctant to invest in any expense for repairing the organ or even in relocation to save it from the wrecking ball. The additions of the two tenor C Aeoline and Celeste was made by Balcom & Vaughan circa 1960. The added chests were electro-mechanical. (James Stettner. August 10, 2019)

    NOTES
The is an original installation. It is a standard 'Portable' in a case with dummy half-
round wooden facade pipes painted gold and a detached console.

In 1958, Balcom and Vaughan extended the organ case at the back and added 2 ranks: a
used Aeoline and Celeste on electro-mechanical chests. On the Great, the 2-2/3' Quint
and 2' Super octave – both from the Salicet rank – were sacrificed for the additions.

In 2015, the property was sold for more high density living development. The status
of the organ is unknown and presumed destroyed.
