Technical Details

Slider chests. Balanced mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Two manuals. 3 divisions. 6 stops. 7 registers. 6 ranks. Manual compass is 61 notes. Pedal compass is 32 notes.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room. Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal row above top manual. Balanced swell shoes/pedals, standard AGO placement. No combination action. AGO Standard (concave radiating) pedalboard. Hitchdown couplers.

Notes

  • This organ was originally built for the Irving residence of Prof. Henry McDowell. When Prof. McDowell passed-away, the organ was donated to the Holy Trinity Seminary and installed here in the Music Room by the successor to The Ross King Co. according to Roy Redman. (James Stettner. August 26, 2019)
