  • Updated through online information from G. Mark Caldwell. -- I am the present owner of Wicks Opus 4654. As of this date (6/1/16) it is a work in progress. I received the organ with no keyboards, no switching mechanisms, no pedalboard and no bench. My employer, Roger Banks, of Edmond Oklahoma gave me the keyboards, pedalboard and bench from Reuter Opus 1921, formerly in Norman, OK. I also harvested components from a Peterson Diode Matrix playing system from another Reuter instrument in Norman, OK which Roger installed a new Matter playing system on. I am working on it as I have the time and have it playing, but am chasing down dead notes and getting them fixed. Once this is all done, and I have a means of controlling the stops (I need to build a nameboard/"console" enclosure), then I will do some tonal finishing with Roger Banks. The pipes are presently voiced a bit loud to be comfortably used in a residence setting. (James Stettner. October 7, 2019)
