Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Mechanical stop action.

Three manuals. 4 divisions. 30 stops. 32 registers. 33 ranks. Manual compass is 56 notes. Pedal compass is 27 notes.

The organ is in chambers at the center front of the room. There are no visible pipes. Traditional style console with a keyboard cover that can be lifted to form a music rack. The organ has an attached keydesk.

Drawknobs in horizontal rows on terraced/stepped jambs. Trigger/hitch-down swell. No combination action. Flat straight pedalboard.


  • Rebuilt and enlarged by E. & G. G. Hook & Hastings in 1870. Relocated to Zion Lutheran Church in 1898 by Hutchings. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Updated through online information from James R. Stettner. -- The Swell was from tenor C and likely had an unenclosed Std. Diapason Bass. The Swell shutters were horizontal and operated by hitch-down/ratchet. (Database Manager. September 17, 2008)
