Technical Details

Slider chests. Mechanical key action. Electric stop action.

Two manuals. 26 ranks.

The organ is in a case at the front of the room. There are hinged doors that enclose keyboards. There is an attached keydesk en fenêtre.

Tilting/rocking tablets above top manual. Adjustable combination pistons. Concave radiating pedalboard. Crescendo Pedal. Reversible full organ/tutti toe stud. Combination action toe studs.

  • Origin of the Kilgen unknown. Rebuilt by Visser-Rowland in 1984. (OHS PC Database. October 30, 2004)
  • Updated by Corwin Slack, who has heard or played the organ.
    In 2016 Visser-Rowland Associates made the following changes: The updates are new slider motors, Solid State DC power supply, a Peterson 8 level combination action, and stop tablets, and a new 8' Trumpet, and replacement of the Krumhorn with an 8' Oboe. (Steven E. Lawson. May 18, 2017)
