Update This Entry
December 18, 2018:

From Organ Database Builders editor Charles Eberline, June 23, 2018. -

This builder is listed as Charles Chadwick in David Fox-s Guide to North American Organbuilders and Barbara Owen-s Organ in New England. The middle initial E. was supplied from the nameplate of the organ in North Baptist Church, New Bedford, Massachusetts (OHS Database ID 8529, with photograph of the nameplate):

Chas. E. Chadwick
Reading, Mass.
1901

Barbara Owen states that Chadwick moved to Reading in 1902, but the nameplate appears to show that he moved there not later than 1901.
