From the OHS PC Database, derived from A Guide to North American Organbuilders by David H. Fox (Organ Historical Society, 1991). -

Cole & Woodberry was established in 1886 by James Cole, James and Jesse Woodberry (all formerly with Hook & Hastings). Jesse Woodberry left the firm in 1888 to form his own company. (Carlton Michell joined the firm c. 1894?); the firm closed in 1899.

Staff: Charles Bowen; Augustus F. Clarke; William B. Goodrich (relation to William M. Goodrich?).
