Born Lake City, Iowa, 1949, son of Elmer and Muriel Dobson; graduate of Wayne State College of Nebraska, 1971; with various builders, 1971-1973, including Hendrickson Organ Co. of St. Peter, Minnesota; established Dobson Organ Co. of Lake City, Iowa, 1974; active in 1989.
