From the OHS Database Builders Listing Editor, June 3, 2016. -

John Vaché Cox was the husband of Eliza Pilcher. Eliza was the daughter of Henry Pilcher [I], sister to Henry [II], and aunt to Henry II's sons, Henry III, Robert E., William E., John Vasché, and Paul Bartlett Pilcher. Thomas Archer would have therefore been married to Henry I's granddaughter, who would have also been niece to Henry II, and first cousin to Henry II's sons.
