Norman A. Greenwood was born December 31, 1929 in Asheville, North Carolina; he was the son of William C. Greenwood. He worked with the Estey Organ Co. of Brattleboro, Vermont, 1949-1950, then after a three year absence returned as a sales-service representative for that firm, 1953-1957. He then took a similar position as representative of Hillgreen, Lane & Co. of Alliance, Ohio, 1957-1963. He established his own service firm, Greenwood Organ Co. of Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1964; he was still active in that firm in 1995 and probably later than that as North Carolina business records indicate the business closed the year after his death.
