Born May 9, 1893 in Salem; son of Alfred Hillgreen, brother of August, Axel, Frank, and Oscar Hillgreen, father of Robert L. Hillgreen, Jr.; with his father’s firm of Hillgreen, Lane & Co. of Alliance, Ohio; died January 18, 1971 in Alliance, Ohio, age 77.
