Succeeded George S. Hutchings & Co.; partnership of George S. Hutchings and Edwin S. Votey in Boston, Massachusetts, 1901-1906; firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts, 1906-1908; thereafter, Hutchings resumed own firm, Votey returned to the Aeolian Co. of Garwood, New Jersey.
