Born c. 1811 in Maine; with William and George Stevens firms from 1850; partner of William Stevens in Boston, Massachusetts, in Stevens & Jewett, 1853; partner with George Stevens and Horatio Davis in Stevens, Davis & Jewett of Boston, Massachusetts, 1855-1856; in successor Stevens & Jewett, 1862.
