Born May 30, 1884 in Amherst, Wisconsin; percussionist with various bands; a founder of Bartola Musical Instrument Co. {Barton Organs} of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, c. 1909; died April 26, 1974 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
