Arthur D. Beach was born in 1869, he was the son of organbuilder Giles Beach. Arthur succeeded his father in 1904; taking over the business when the elder Beach retired.

Two years later, Arthur became partner with Arnold B. Freitag, the two did business as Beach & Freitag of Troy, New York, 1906-1909. After the partnership ended, Arthur moved to Watervliet, New York, in 1909. Arthur D. Beach died in 1936.
