From a biography of Joseph Adam appended to his recital program at the 1986 OHS Convention: "He is Assistant Organist at Zion Lutheran Church and is a member of the music staff at St. Mary-s Church in Iowa City. In 1981 he assisted in the restoration of the 1883 Moline organ at St. Mary-s; this work led to further assistance with the Quimby Pipe Organ Company in similar projects.�
Joseph Adam has been the organist at St. James Cathedral in Seattle since 1993 and is a faculty member at the University of Puget Sound. Mr. Adam holds a BMus and MMus degrees from the University of Iowa and a performer's certificate from the Eastman School of Music.
