Morel and Associates is the successor to Ivan P. Morel (and Associates) which in turn was successor to Fred H. Meunier (Co.). Fred Meunier started his firm in 1921, and installed and serviced organs for most of the large eastern firms throughout Colorado. Under Ivan Morel, the company began building organs in 1985. Under Richard Morel, the present company concentrates on building new and renovating and restoring old organs.

*According to the Morel & Associates website, Hugh Turpin was an employee, then co-owner (with Ivan P. Morel) of the predecessor firm Fred H. Meunier & Associates. When Mr. Turpin retired in 1972, the name of the company was changed to Ivan P. Morel & Associates. —Ed.
