Born c. 1825 in Prussia, Germany; father of Louis and Herman Pomplitz; partner with Henry Rodewald in Pomplitz & Rodewald of Baltimore, Maryland, 1850-c. 1862; in Pomplitz Church Organ Co.; died February 3, 1877.
