Born 1851 in West Boylston, Massachusetts; son of Reuben G. Reed, brother of Charles Reed, father of Earl Warren Reed; with his brother and son in G. W. Reed & Son of West Boylston, Massachusetts; George W. Reed died in 1915; the firm was last listed c. 1932.
