Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; father of Robert Sobczyk; apprentice in Long Island, New York, 1923; with Bartola Musical Instrument Co. {Barton Organs} of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, 1925; in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1931-1936, cabinetmaker; established American Organ Supply Co., 1936; died December 18, 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, age 66.
