Born 1942 in Richmond, Virginia; in Orange, Virginia; graduate of Washington & Lee University of Lexington, Virginia; apprentice with Rudolph von Beckerath of Hamburg, Germany, 1968-1969; in Amelia, Virginia, 1969; with John Brombaugh & Co. of Germantown, Ohio, 1970-1977; established Taylor Organbuilders of Middletown, OH, 1977; relocated to Staunton, Virginia, 1979; partner with John H. Boody in Taylor & Boody Organbuilders of Staunton, Virginia, 1980; active with firm in 1991.
