Votteler; immigrated to the United States in 1847; established his own firm 1855; in Votteler Brothers Music store of Cleveland, Ohio, 1866-c. 1870; organbuilder with his brother c. 1870-c. 1894; associated with Ernst A. Humitsch; succeeded by Henry B. Votteler; deceased by May 30, 1894 in Cleveland, Ohio.
