Database Manager on October 25, 2006:

Identified through online information from James R. Stettner. -- This building was originally University Congregational Church, and the organ was built for that congregation. In 1935 Kimball completed the electrification and rebuild of a 3-manual, 26-rank, Hook & Hastings, Op. 1519, that had been built in 1892 for Plymouth Congregational of Seattle. The organ was removed by Balcom and Vaughan after the building had two fires, and ultimately rebuilt by them as a 4-manual for Manito Presbyterian in Spokane, Washington.
