Identified through online information from T. Daniel Hancock. -- Owen, 1979, states that this was one of two very similar organs built in 1831 by Goodrich; the other, for the Unitarian Church in Nantucket Island, survives today. This one, for the Unitarian Church of Salem, was moved to the church's new building in 1846, and replaced by a Hook organ in 1869.
