Posted to PIPORG-L May 28, 2011 by Stephen Roberts: - We are also sending the II/9 1884 Hook and Hastings that we removed from a church in Barnegat, NJ, last summer [to Bolivia]. That organ will be installed next year in a new church in Plan 3000, a very poor barrio of Santa Cruz. This project has been sponsored through donations from all 7 Connecticut AGO chapters, plus the NYC chapter, and some private individuals.

Updated through on-line information from Stephen T. Roberts. -- Richard Hamar, Adam Kowal and I removed the organ for shipment to Bolivia. Organ removed in July 2010 and is in storage in Connecticut.

Updated through on-line information from Bill Neyenhouse. -- The Barnegat United Methodist Church at 682 E Bay Ave. in Barnegat has been sold and is now the St. Mary and St. Paula Coptic Orthodox Church. The new church does not use music in its services and is selling the organ.
