Paul R. Marchesano on May 13, 2022:

By 1959, the organ again needed extensive repair. In May of 1960, a contract was signed with the Williams Organ Service Inc. of Swampscott, MA, to rebuild the organ at a cost of $7,450. According to a church history, this work included: "Furnish and install a new two-manual and pedal AGO standard console, three new reservoirs, relocate the Pedal chests, remove the Great Diapason II to the Swell replacing the existing stop, remove the Great Principal 4 to the Swell replacing the existing stop, remove the Great Diapason I to the Pedal as Octave 8 and Choral Bass 4, furnish new Great Principal 8, furnish a new Great Gemshorn 8, furnish a new Twelfth 2⅔, replace the existing Mixture with a new Mixture III, 15-19-22, replace the Cor d'Amour with a new Trumpet 8, furnish a new Swell Fagotto 8 with chest, replace the existing great Trumpet 8 with Unda Maris t.c. 8." All of the new stops were supply house ranks. The original Hook Great Diapason was moved to the Pedal, and replaced by a smaller-scaled rank. -- 2005 OHS Handbook
