In April 1929 Walter Holtkamp wrote to Rector Peterson offering a second-hand 1917 Kimball organ Holtkamp had taken in trade. St. James’ paid $3,500 for the used instrument, installed that August and reusing the case and Lieblich Gedeckt from St. James’ previous organ. -- 2009 OHS Atlas
