NOTES
The 1984 work involved several things:
1. The organ, previously installed used in 1960 in the rear gallery was
moved to the front of the church atop a pedestal.
2. The Swell was placed in a former closet on the left wall of the
chancel, and the original Austin chest was altered to have four legs,
a regulator underneath, and removeable bottom boards - but still re-
retaining the original Universal action. The original Vox Humana
chest was converted to electro-mechanical with a removeable bottom
board.
3. The console was relocated to the front and installed on the right
side of the chancel beneath the Echo chamber grille.
4. The existing, used Robert Morton that had been installed in the old
church and relocated to the present edifice was made playable on the
Austin console from the Swell manual, and affected by all inter- and
intra-manual Swell couplers.
5. Tonal changes were made to the Great, Swell, and Pedal as indicated
in the stoplist above. The Pedal 16' Bombarde is enclosed inside the
pedestal - beneath the Great and Choir. The new manual reed stops
were built by Moller.
The Morton chests were damaged by water due to a roof leak that developed
during the winter of 1996-97. It was releathered in stages by Stettner
Pipe Organs of Seattle, WA. between October 1997 and January 1998.
