NOTES
This was a kit organ which was purchased and assembled by Joan Thompson, wife of Bellevue, WA.
Episcopal priest John Thompson. When the couple retired to Vashon Island, they donated the organ
to Christ Church in Anacortes.

It was installed there by that parish's former Rector, Rev. Marvin H. Blake – who also procured
the 12 wooden 16' pipes. Sadly, Rev. Blake passed away in 2002 before the organ was dedicated
during Epiphany of 2003.

The organ is housed in a free-standing case of blond oak with an attached projecting keydesk,
and drawknobs in horizontal rows on both sides of the manuals. The front of the case is covered
by folding glass doors, and the expression louvers are in the lid of the case.
