NOTES
The sanctuary interior of this Akron plan church was laid-out on a diamond configuration
with the chancel platform at the tip of the diamond. A choir gallery was located along
the forward, right wall, and th organ keydesk was attache to the casework in this loca-
tion. The main façade was above the chancel platform with a second, smaller façade on the
right side over the choir gallery. A third façade was located in the adjacent room where
the Sunday School rooms were. It was separated from the sanctuary by a large folding
wooden door which could be opened for overflow.
The organ was replaced with a new 12-rank Möller (Op. 7235) in 1946. Seattle organ
technician Charles W. Allen (who had worked with Seattle Kimball representative Arthur D.
Longmore) acquired the Kimball and moved it to St. Andrew's Episcopal in Aberdeen, Wash-
ington where it was installed in 1947 in electrified form with a new console and three
additional ranks. The added 8' Oboe replaced the Kimball Vox Humana whose subsequent dis-
position is unknown.
