NOTES
The organ was installed in a single, multi-level common chamber in the rear
gallery, in the left corner. The console was installed in the center with
the organist's back to the congregation.
Each division was unique unto itself with no sharing between divisions –
excepting borrows and extensions to the Pedal.
The Choir 2' Flageolet borrowed its top octave from the Swell 2' Flautino;
and the 1' Siffloete borrowed its 4th octave from the Swell 2' Flautino
and then repeated them for the 5th octave. The Choir 8' Erzähler Celeste
[II] was an independent celeste rank and also drew the 8' Dulciana with it.
The name plate for each division was wired to act as a divisional cancel –
much like the cancel bars over Austin stoptablets.
The organ was replaced in 1999 with a new II-manual, 33-stop, 37-rank,
free-standing and encased mechanical-action organ by Martin Pasi Builders,
Inc. Some of the Kilgen pipework was retained for the new organ and was
revoiced. The Swell III Plein Jeu mixture ended-up at St. James Catholic
Church (now, Proto-Cathedral) in Vancouver, Washington. The remainder was
broken-up for parts.
