It would probably work if a functioning blower is attached. The existing blower could be rebuilt. It has lost its original large bellows and now has a 3x4 bellows. The organ needs to be cleaned. A few swell string pipes have fallen over but all the rest of the pipes are in good condition. The Great Open Diapason is the façade. All actions are mechanical, intact and working. Stein organs are very sturdily built. The sound is sure and solid. This instrument is set into an alcove. It has a case front and façade but no sides or back. The console and pedalboard are on a raised platform while the structure of the organ stands on the church floor about 4’ lower. [Received from David M Storey 2013-02-15.]
