NOTES
This specification is from shop files of Balcom and Vaughan Pipe Organs, Inc. of Seattle,
Washington. The number of pipes and ranks is calculated based upon the documented specifi-
cation of the organ before the moving and new console in 1959; and upon the ranks added.
The exact nomenclature of stops and controls is not verifiable as the organ has since been
enlarged and revised in several stages.
This was a project of moving the existing 1916 Kimball organ to the new church on Lombard,
and installing it is the space provided. The original Echo division became the Choir. The
new console was built by Balcom and Vaughan, and fitted with a Reisner combination action
and parts. A 2' Flautino and new windchest was included in the specification as an after-
thought – but still in 1959. The Flautino cost was $400.00 plus $16.00 tax.
Later changes and additions were made in the 1960's and 70's with the last rebuild and
enlargement in 1982.
